The Eurasian Council for Craft and Design (ECCD) was established in response to systemic challenges faced by craft and design communities across the Eurasian space.
These challenges include the fragmentation of professional ecosystems, limited international dialogue, and the absence of sustainable frameworks for long-term cooperation.
ECCD functions as a coordinating, analytical, and institutional platform that facilitates professional dialogue, collaboration, and the development of long-term programmes.
ECCD does not replace national or regional institutions and does not compete with existing professional structures.
The Council is not a representative or advocacy body.
